Diana Bolaños
Aquatic sound therapy & AguaQiFlow founder
Diana Bolaños is the creator of AguaQiFlow — a restorative aquatic therapy that blends QiGong's flowing movements with sacred waters, energy work and Mayan spiritual traditions. Her sessions take place in the mineral-rich, gently floating waters of the Bacalar lagoon, where the buoyancy and silence of the water carry tones, breath and bodywork in a way no studio can. The work supports nervous-system regulation, emotional release and womb healing rather than peak experience.
Current sessions

Background
Diana developed AguaQiFlow out of years of QiGong, water-based bodywork and Mayan-tradition ceremony. Bacalar’s seven-shade lagoon — fed by mineral springs and ringed by jungle — became the natural setting for the work, since the water itself does much of the holding.
How she works
Sessions take place in the lagoon. Participants float, supported by Diana, while she layers QiGong movement, voice, breathwork and energy work. The goal is parasympathetic shift and emotional release; the format leans soft and slow rather than ceremonial-intense.
Where to find her
Diana hosts private AguaQiFlow sessions in Bacalar and is a regular facilitator at Vikara Wellness’s Bacalar retreats. Group sessions for retreat-house guests can be arranged with notice.
